**Description**:
In this pivotal role you will be coordinating the transport activities of our equipment.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently plan and coordinate daily transport and servicing activities for our portable hire range to optimise fleet utilisation, minimise transport costs and ensure pick up’s, deliveries and service jobs are completed on time. Impartial allocation of tasks best suited and available as required.
- Manage all external costs & rate to ensure cost effective operations.
- Communicate with customers in relation to transport activity schedules, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered in all circumstances
- Allocate drivers, both employees and subcontractors, and communicate transport schedules
- Train, supervise and mentor driver to ensure high standards of work are achieved and employees are provided the opportunity to learn and develop in their roles
- Manage vehicle compliance, servicing, and repair to ensure mínimal operational disruption
- Oversee compliance with Onsite load restraint requirements and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in the allocation, loading/unloading and transportation of our portable range
- Ensure transportation activities are arranged and conducted as appropriate for product type being transported
- Assist in monitoring availability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted in full and on time
- Report any customer or transportation equipment damage the Branch Manager to allow costs to be captured / recouped

Desired Skills and Experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to successfully prioritise and manage multiple competing objectives
- Working knowledge of CoR obligations, specifically in relation to load restraint - Not essential
