Company Description

**Job Description**:
Assist in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the accounts receivable function, via the debtor’s ledger, including accurate and timely processing of transactions such as cash receipts and credit /debit adjustments. Maintain strict credit control, by reviewing overdue accounts and follow up with customers.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Responsible for maintaining strict credit control, to ensure that the company’s exposure to bad debts is minimized.
- Review overdue accounts and follow up with customers to collect money in a timely manner.
- Ensure all key stakeholders are fully informed of current account positions.
- Develop a customer service culture by maintaining a close and harmonious working relationship with customers.

**KEY TASKS**:

- Daily receipts allocation alongside credit hold release
- Reconcile debtors payments
- Issues monthly customer statements
- Attend to customer queries
- Contact customers for overdue accounts and manage best collection process
- Open and maintain customer accounts
- Ensure that all intercompany recoverable expenses are pre-approved via New Gen and subsequently invoiced.
- Monthly confirmations (C16’s) sent to, and agreed with, intercompany customers.
- Assist with month end close
- Office Administration, data entry and support for the general business
- Other ad hoc tasks

**Qualifications**:
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU**:

- 5+ years of finance or related experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excel, Well conversant with MS Office / G- Suite.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion is an added advantage.
- Conversant with applicable Tax, Laws and Industry knowledge.
- Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
