About the role

As the Credit Controller at Tridon, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable and implementing effective credit control strategies. This full-time position is based in Silverwater, NSW, and will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of payments and maintaining a healthy cash flow for the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices to ensure prompt payment
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments (such as customer service, sales and warranty) to resolve billing discrepancies, resolve account queries and support cross-functional operations
  • Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, ensuring all receipts are accurately allocated to customer accounts
  • Identify and escalate any high-risk accounts to management
  • Implement and improve credit control processes and procedures
  • Provide regular reports on accounts receivable performance
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Opening new debtor accounts and conducting credit checks
  • Maintain and update the PPSR
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures relating to accounts receivable.

  • Significant experience (3+ years) in a credit control or accounts receivable role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment issues
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with customers effectively
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
