**As the Product Release Manager, you will be responsible for the facilitation of release activities including the analysis of Change and Release impacts to determine release scope, release readiness and planning and coordinating releases for each of the Aurion ACE, QPS and ESE solutions managed by Queensland Shared Services under the release management process.
- The purpose of the role is to plan, coordinate and administer the release management activities which occur across the Solutions managed by QSS for the Machinery of Government Changes
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure solution releases are delivered on time, within budget, meet stakeholder expectations and provide value for money to customers.
- Facilitate all release activities including the analysis of Change and Release impacts to determine release scope, Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, Stand ups and Business Go/No Go reviews for the Machinery of Government Changes.
- Communicates the management, evaluation, resolution and/or escalation of risks that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
- Facilitates the preparation for all release activities from initiation, and communication of the release plans, inter-team coordination, scope approval/changes and training/information forums.
- Participate in Change and Release Board (CaRB) meetings to discuss release scope, gates, implementation and/or roadblocks.
- Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities including the development and execution of cutover plans and checklists monitoring their effectiveness to improve the quality of the release process for the Machinery of Government Changes
- Support the planning of release windows and cycles across a portfolio for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of Release Management procedures, strategies, frameworks and policies.
- Build team capabilities to improve performance and meet current and future demands through effective leadership, coaching, implementation of professional development and knowledge transfer strategies, and documentation and adherence to processes and procedures.
