Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media and Content Advisor to join our digital team. Home to some of our city’s most iconic venues - AAMI Park Stadium, Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena and CENTREPIECE - you will never tire of the exciting content you will have the opportunity to create. Assist us to showcase M&OP’s exceptional sports and entertainment experiences while shaping our social media presence and content strategy.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Social Media and Content Advisor will be responsible for managing our social media channels, content creation, and community engagement. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, hirers, and corporate partners to create engaging digital content and campaigns that build affinity with our precinct and elevate the event-going experience.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Digital Content and Social Media Strategy**
Develop and execute strategic social media plans across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, as well as spearhead the creation of any new social media accounts.
**Platform and Community Management**
Oversee day-to-day management of social media communities, ensuring engagement and growth.
**Content Creation and Management**
Produce and manage high-quality, audience-first digital content that aligns with current social media trends, best practices and M&OP brand guidelines.
**Reporting and Analytics**
Analyse social media performance and provide insights that shape our digital strategies to maximise engagement and commercial outcomes.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
Build and maintain strong relationships with M&OP’s Venue Managers, Business Partners, promoters, and tenant clubs to deliver impactful and mutually beneficial marketing campaigns and content across digital channels.
- Please note, t_his role will be on a 3-year fixed term contract with the possibility of progressing into a _full-time_ position._
**What you will bring to the role**
- Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Brandwatch or similar social media management tools is advantageous.
