**About the role**:
Working within the Infrastructure Service Delivery team this is a key role focusing on asset management, specifically hardware and desktop.

In this varied role you will be responsible for working with our offshore partners to update our hardware assets, managing the break-fix process, responsible for purchasing and invoicing activities, governing our vendors to provide a best-in-class service and a mixture of adhoc activities, such as reporting.

You will have some previous knowledge of asset management (1-2 years minimum); you may come from a BA-type background and have solid written/verbal communication skills. Experience working with off-shore partners would be beneficial, as would experience of invoicing/purchasing within the asset management/infrastructure space.

**What you’ll do**:

- Accountable for Hardware Asset Management using our ITSM tool ServiceNow.
- Govern IT Partners to deliver best in class End to End Operations and Run services, through Governance, Reporting and Continuous Service Improvement.
- Service Level Management and Supplier Governance.
- Ensure adherence to Build to Run framework enabling a fast pace of change and transition into production.
- Work with our vendor to manage the break-fix process
- Responsible for the purchasing and invoicing of hardware devices such as headsets/handsets, Apple, Dell, Microsoft and other products and vendors.
- Ensure that Suncorp can continue to operate by managing hardware stock levels.
- Perform license management for a number of systems and suppliers
- Perform proactive hardware stock level management
- Provide reporting on stock levels, budget status and chargebacks

**What you’ll bring**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in asset management (Hardware/Desktop preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infrastructure services (mandatory)
- Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow (highly desirable)
- Previous experience working as a BA (desirable)
- Understanding of procurement, invoicing (highly desirable)
- Working in the financial/insurance industry would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and a team-player with a flexible mind-set
