**About the role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Continuity specialist to play a key role in the planning and execution of disaster recovery plans. You will touch on a broad range of technologies within Suncorp, assessing how our services would be impacted in case of disastrous events. This will require you to work closely with tech owners to develop and test disaster recovery plans as well as utilising your strong analytical skills to assess various impacts. The role also requires you to report on the end-to-end Service Continuity processes to meet APRA and Suncorp business requirements, as per our Disaster Recovery Framework.
As Suncorp moves our datacentres to the cloud, this is a fantastic role for someone who wants to work on complex and challenging disaster recovery scenarios and take their skill set to the next level.

**What you’ll do**:
- Plan and execute disaster recovery scenarios across a range of technologies
- Plan for contingencies and reduce risk by identifying misalignment between dependent system criticalities and manage mitigation
- Work with tech owners to develop and test disaster recovery plans (DRPs) and manage the execution of those plans
- Report on the end-to-end Service Continuity processes to meet regulatory and Suncorp business requirements
- Analysis using Sharepoint and ServiceNow as well as owning and maintaining metadata for the DRPs
**What you’ll bring**:
- Minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in a similar Service Continuity/Disaster Recovery role within a complex enterprise environment (you may also be considered if you have worked in another area of service management such as critical incident management or configuration management)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and Sharepoint highly regarded
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Continuity and Incident Management;
- Knowledge of IT component capability at a high level
- Strong communication, facilitation and analytical skills
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations or relevant experience
- Prior reporting experience would be highly regarded
