**Job description**

Our Dynamic team requires an energetic, self-driven Machinery Fabrication Technician

The objective of the technician is assisting with the set up and check off of machines before being set to customers.

**Task and Duties include**:

- Set up and testing of new machines and equipment before being sent to customers.
- Perform repairs to packaging machines returned from customers in workshop.
- Completing detailed service reports for works undertaken.
- Receipting in machinery and parts deliveries.
- Modifications to pallet wrapping machines including fabrication of ramps and other attachments.
- General housekeeping of work areas.
- Adherence to all WH&S standards and procedures.
- Support the Service Department to complete any tasks necessary.
- Provide great customer service with a high degree of professionalism and presentation
- Work in a professional and safe manner at all time and maintain all relevant WH&S requirements

**Essential skills/Qualifications**.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in preventive maintenance of equipment
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication
- Experienced using CMMS (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, MEX, Maximo etc)
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- High attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve the desired outcome
- Physically fit and reliable.
- Must pass a medical including drug and alcohol screening, and police check.

**Other skill that would be preferable but not imperative**:

- AutoCAD design skills

The position reports directly to the National Machinery Coordinator.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
