Are you looking for a versatile, hands-on role where no two

Our client, a family-owned South Australian business with a
strong reputation in mechanical engineering since 1973, is seeking a skilled Trade
Assistant to join their workshop team.

Specializing in conveyors and material handling systems,
this is a hands-on role supporting Boilermakers, Welders, and Fitters while
contributing to the smooth running of their operations. If you have a
mechanical mindset and a keen eye for safety, this could be your next career
move.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist
    Boilermakers, Welders, and Fitters with daily tasks
  • Operate
    forklifts for loading/unloading materials
  • Manage
    general stores and inventory
  • Collect
    stock from suppliers and deliver to site
  • Ensure
    a safe and efficient work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Current
    forklift licence & stores experience (essential)
  • Background
    in engineering, construction, or fabrication (highly desirable)
  • Strong
    communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic
    computer skills for inventory and job tracking
  • Proactive
    attitude with a focus on safety and compliance
