Better Care Options is a Quality Approved ISO 9001 business which provides individual support to clients with disabilities, injuries and those needing care as they get older across the Melbourne Metropolitan region.

A large proportion of our clients are elderly Russian speakers requiring support to remain living in their own homes as they age. This role provides the opportunity to work with aged care clients and leading aged care organisations.

We are looking to expand our Support Team by recruiting 5 **Russian** speaking carers for a dynamic, flexible, and rewarding full time role in the **Melbourne metropolitan** area.

**Position Description**:

- Complete the specific activities each client needs which are directed by a Task List submitted by an external service provider.
- Complete relevant documentation. This includes writing progress notes about your interaction with the client after every shift, which is then uploaded to the nominated portal designated by Better Care Options
- Establish, maintain, and respect the confidentiality of the client. This includes not sharing client information or images on social media, face-to-face or by any other means, and unconsented disclosure of sensitive or private client information to any other party.

**What you will need**:

- You must be a Fluent Russian speaker with a comprehensive understanding of Russian culture and competent in both oral and written English
- Australian work permit/residency/citizenship
- Aged Care Certificate III or equivalent.
- Clear communication skills and people skills
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or certificates)
- Valid Victorian Driver's license, a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- A reliable mobile/smart phone
- Job Type: Full Time_
- Salary: starting from $29.71 per hour depending on qualifications and experience._

**Salary**: From $29.71 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
