**Your day as an Associate Director**
The Office of the Secretary and Ministerial Services (OSMS) oversees Treasury’s ministerial and executive services, including Cabinet, Parliament, briefings, and correspondence. It provides Departmental Liaison Officers and resourcing support to Ministerial Offices and offers advice to the Secretary and Treasury Executive Board to enhance organisational performance. Within OSMS, the Ministerial Briefings and Correspondence team (MBC) handles a wide range of ministerial products such as briefs, correspondence, and advice. The team focuses on delivering high-quality ministerial correspondence, meetings, events, and information briefs, while also providing training, implementing innovative management strategies, ensuring timely responses, and developing performance transparency reporting.
You will be joining our **Office of the Secretary and Ministerial Services (OSMS)** Group and will be working within the **Ministerial Briefings & Correspondence team**. Read more about your future Group and Division.

- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of managing ministerial correspondence and brief requests.
- Experience working with Ministerial Offices and senior executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to problem solve and partner effectively with teams to manage urgent and complex requests, in a high-pressure environment.
- Advanced drafting and/or editorial skills.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of or ability to quickly build an in-depth understanding of key economic and budgetary policy issues facing the NSW Government.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of continuous improvement, change management and succession planning.
