**Your new role**

As a **Business Development Consultant**, you will be an integral part of **Essendon Mazda**’s sales team, responsible for engaging with potential customers over the phone and face to face. Your primary goal will be to understand customers' needs, provide solutions & information about our product range, guide them through the initial stages of the vehicle-buying process and ensure all results are documented. This role requires a proactive and customer-centric approach as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our Sales Team. You will be providing new and existing customers with the Ultimate Customer Experience while ensuring seamless communication and handover to the appropriate Sales Departments and assisting customers with any enquiries they may have.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ability to proactively engage with potential and existing customers, schedule appointments efficiently, and foster positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Comprehensive wholistic knowledge of the products and services we offer, and effectively communicating this information to clients in a timely manner.
- Collaboration & communication with the sales team is essential for a seamless customer experience, as is the ability to follow up promptly to address any queries or concerns.
- Maintain detailed & accurate records using the tools provided and consistently achieving sales targets are also fundamental aspects of the role.
- Working towards both individual and team sales targets.
