**About the Company**

Charterhouse are partnering with large statutory body, based in the inner city suburbs who are looking for an experienced Procurement Advisor. This varied role will suit someone who thrives in a complex environment and has a vested interest in the sports industry, you will be responsible for reporting and complying with VGPB standards and streamlining the procurement processes across the business. Be a part of a supportive team that values enthusiasm, working together, and open communication.

**How will you make an impact?**
- Follow strict compliance with VGPB and prepare all reporting requirements
- Manage the tender end to end process
- Review, compare and evaluate efficient products and services
- Research and assess against set criteria, for prospective suppliers
- Provide internal stakeholders with guidance and templates to ensure the tender process is adhered to
- Engage with prospective suppliers
- Report on performance of existing procurement contracts
- Identify, plan and implement resource efficiencies
- Stream-line the procurement processes across the business
- Assist the Legal team with successful supplier contract compliance
- Identify and support buying economies across the business
- 3 years previous experience in Procurement essential
- Previous experience working with VGPB highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in preparing documents including procurement plans, Request for Tender’s (RFT), Request for Quotes (RFQ), Variations and Contracts with commercial knowledge
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and networking skills to build and maintain relationships and provide appropriate coaching and support when required
- Ability to work autonomously to manage competing tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially with regards to probity, process compliance and contracts
- High level of organisation skills and ability to prioritise
