**At Hotel Grand Chancellor we are very passionate about our Food & Beverage operations. **Your previous leadership experience in a hands-on food and beverage position will be highly regarded. You will also get to spread your wings across our multiple Food and Beverage outlets and be responsible for the planning, directing & coordinating all the Food & Beverage services.**

**If you have proven experience in achieving the following, then we want to hear from you**:

- Enthusiastically assist in implementing marketing/promotional strategies to improve guest service standards and revenue generation
- Deal effectively with difficult situations in the best interests of the Hotel owners, employees and guests. Handle difficult situations utilising conflict resolution and calm authority
- Liaise with Executive Chef and our Events Team to keep lines of communication open between food and beverage production and service areas of the hotel
- Conducts regular departmental communications briefings and meetings
- Ensures all necessary information is passed down to all staff members to keep them informed of the department’s activities to create open communication
- Audit operating standards and procedures to ensure they comply with company standards, and where necessary develop and implement new procedures to improve and or reduce potential risk to the business
- Through hands-on management, closely supervise team members’ performance of their duties and ensure this is in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensure the punctuality and appearance of all team members, making sure they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
- Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Food and Beverage Service employees through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.

This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, providing you with job security. You will work alongside knowledgeable and experienced professionals that will support your career growth and provide ongoing training and support. You must be flexible and able to work a 7-day roster incorporating days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
