The Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide is seeking an experienced Bar and Restaurant Supervisor to join our amazing and knowledgeable Food & Beverage team. If you are fun, driven, reliable and have proven leadership qualities then we want you to be part of our team and in return we will support your hotel management career progression.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, the Bar and Restaurant Supervisor will be accountable for a variety of responsibilities including coordinating the department’s daily activities by leading and inspiring the Food and Beverage team. The Bar and Restaurant Supervisor will take a hands-on approach and utilise their organisational skills and knowledge to assist the Food and Beverage Operations Manager in the smooth running of daily operations.

**About you...**

This opportunity is for an individual who is energetic, proactive, motivated and has sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise. You will need to have confidence in decision making, ability to use your initiative and think outside the box. You will have a strong passion for providing an excellent standard of service and ensure you lead your team to perform at the equivalent high standards.

To succeed in this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

- Extensive Food and Beverage experience
- Sound knowledge of Restaurant and Bar operations with sound product knowledge
- Proven experience in leading and coaching a team to achieve successful outcomes
- Proven experience in training and upskilling team members
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and identify improvements and gaps
- A positive, flexible, team player attitude to build positive relationships
- Ability to handle customer complaints and grievances in a positive, efficient and considerate manner.
