Location: The Richmond Hotel - 128 Rundle Mall, Adelaide, SA 5000

Part-time hours / Casual Contract

About Us:

At The Richmond Hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering warm hospitality and exceptional service that makes every guest feel at home. As part of our front desk team, you'll be the face of our hotel - creating a lasting first impression and helping ensure a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Your Role:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting guests with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries
  • Handling reservations, cancellations, and payment processing
  • Assisting with guest requests and resolving any issues promptly
  • Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments as needed
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus (but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for customer service
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Basic computer and reservation system knowledge
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
