**About the role**
Be part of an exciting new service in Auburn, offering Independent Living Options for individuals living with disability. In this role, you will provide person-centred supports, empowering the people we support to live independently and achieve their personal goals. This permanent opportunity offers approximately 20 hours per fortnight involves care delivery across a 24/7 roster, which will include morning supports and sleepover shifts.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Willingness to work sleepover and short, split shifts required
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as **personal care, meal preparation, manual handling, and domestic assistance**:
- Facilitate **transport and community participation**, fostering social inclusion and engagement
- Work alongside clients to implement and monitor individualised support plans that reflect their unique goals
- Build respectful and empowering relationships, advocating for client choice and control with a focus on safety and compliance
**Skills and Experience**
- Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party Insurance)
