**The Position**
Genus Industrial Services are seeking an experienced Project Controller to assist in delivering effective project outcomes in the areas of cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and collation of financial reports (weekly and monthly).
- Monitor labour requirements and usage within work breakdown structures (WBS) and report on potential concerns.
- Liaise with project teams and key personnel to provide advice on project schedules, budgets, forecasted and actual costs.
- Provide day to day interpretation of contractual terms and conditions.
- Establish positive working relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Provide efficient, appropriate and effective communication to the Project Managers, Commercial Teams, and Project Teams.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Controls position, ideally within construction or engineering.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, organisational and presentation/finishing skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
- Strong understanding of Project Accounting, with a sound knowledge of Earned Value and WIP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
- High level analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to actively listen and retain information accurately.
- Excellent organisational and time management.
