Planner*
Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Planner to join our project-based infrastructure teams for a range of projects coming up now and into the future including defence, infrastructure/civils.

Planning & Project Controls Engineer
**Planning Specific Responsibilities**
**What you'll do but not limited too;**
- Ensure regular and accurate program updates and reliable forecasts, communicate changes in critical path, milestone dates and highlight delays and potential schedule slippages to the project manager.
- Prepare look ahead schedules to support site construction operations.
- Take accountability for the development and effective monitoring of the construction program throughout the project;
- Effectively communicate to other project team members on priorities and criticality of program activities;
- Support the project team in identifying opportunities to reduce time, advise of any risks against key milestones, and provide assurance on achieving the key dates;
- Provide early warning notices to project team on delays and the likely effects of delays;
- Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of Notice of Delays and Extension of Time claims to protect entitlements to project delays;
- Prepare engaging weekly and monthly reporting including Earned Value metrics using SPI, CPI and SV analysis;
- Promote and implement the use of alternative planning techniques, including time chainage and 4D Planning where required.
Project Controls Specific Responsibilities
- Establish communication with site team to receive weekly status of works and physical progress data.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including maintaining interactive digital dashboards using Power-Bi or similar, presenting clear and concise visuals for Quality, Risk, Cost, Program and Change Management statuses.
- Manage and maintain data to report accurately on Cost Performance (CPI) and Schedule Performance (SPI)
- Champion the project controls systems for the Project to maintain compliance to project controls management plan
- Provide support with the development and provide ongoing analysis of program, milestones and key deliverables in consultation with the Project team and stakeholders
**You’re one of the best. Someone with**:
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar;
- Extensive experience in Mining and Resources, Infrastructure, Renewables and/or Non-Process Infrastructure;
- Proficient user of Primavera P6;
- Ability to write routine reports, basis of program reports, identify program risks and correspondence;
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
- Ability to problem solve and research innovative ways to reduce costs
