THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an established team of child safeguarding professionals to establish and support the transition of the Human Services Regulator to a sector regulator for Child Safe Standards.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Coordinate day to day activities and oversight of compliance activities relating to child safe standards in accordance with the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005.
- Provide authoritative advice on issues relating to safeguarding the interests of vulnerable people in a regulatory context and to inform investigations and enforcement.
- Where responsible for delivering projects including oversight and management of investigations, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, government regulations, guidelines and contractual obligations.
