**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated Change and Communications Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for those with experience in change management who are looking to grow their leadership profile. Reporting to the Change Practice Manager, the Change and Communications Manager is responsible for preparing stakeholders for changes being implemented by the Operational Performance Group (OPG) at the University. They conduct change impact analysis, develop tactical & sustainable change plans, and create communication strategies to ensure potential risks are managed and successful adoption of new ways of working. The role is critical in advocating for stakeholder needs and ensuring readiness for change. Currently there are no direct reports however support may be provided via Analyst and Officer roles, the Change and Communications Manager is expected to provide oversight and support to the Change team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop, and execute change management and communication services, including impact analysis, risk mitigation tactics, and collaboration with initiative leads.
- Support communication efforts by planning, developing, delivering, and managing key messages and reviews.
- Manage change activities from initial scoping to evaluation and contribute to change and communication governance by identifying and addressing risks and issues.
- Contribute to practice improvement and pipeline management, including implementing improvements to the change management and communication framework and toolkit, as well as participating in team meetings and researching potential initiatives.

**Who we are looking for**
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You exercise leadership and influence to achieve common goals and work effectively as part of a team. You have experience managing multiple initiative, prioritising tasks, and delivering results in complex and agile environments. Empathy, leadership and relationship management are essential qualities for this role.

You will also have:

- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in stakeholder management, change management planning, governance, strategy, engagement, business impact analysis, business readiness, and reinforcement and embedding.
- Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies, using a variety of channels, media and delivery styles to support engagement of internal audiences.

A relevant degree and prior experience working in a tertiary education environment would be highly regarded.
