The role advises the executive and board, handles critical issues, and collaborates across Victoria’s health network. With a seven-day on-call roster, flexibility for major events and after-hours availability are essential. This dynamic position offers the chance to drive meaningful change in healthcare **About You** To be successful in the role, you will have the following: - Commitment to the Melbourne Way: prioritising people, kindness, and collaborative excellence. - Over five years' experience leading a Communications Teams, ideally in health, not-for-profit, or government sectors. - Proven ability to manage media relations, crisis communications, and strategic public health narratives. - Strong skills in prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, and overseeing diverse communications portfolios, including digital and brand management. - Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including journalists, government advisors, and health leaders.
