
Disaster Recovery Manager

Head up the Disaster Recovery team on this high priority project, tasked with increasing the maturity of compliance and effectiveness, involved in global disaster exercises and the opportunity to work closely with global counter parts.
As a Disaster Recovery planning & execution leader, you will grow our Client's IT Service Management (ITSM) team, solving important problems with your expert situation analysis and experience in operating on a critical path. In our Client's ITSM team, you'll utilise your expertise in cloud or managed services environments with a focus on Disaster Recovery solutions and products, network infrastructure, and IT security policy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the Disaster Recovery site and ensure resilience of technical infrastructure
- Uphold the quality and integrity of the Disaster Recovery management practice
- Plan and coordinate annual tests of the Disaster Recovery plan
- Ensure all IT services comply with the AU Disaster Recovery policy and achieve acceptable levels of service and data recovery.
**Requirements**:
- Expertise in Disaster Recovery planning, execution and simulation activities
- Proven experience with business/service continuity
- Familiarity with cloud-based products (azure preferred)
- Strong communication particularly with stakeholders and team leadership abilities.
