The Opportunity:
The Disaster Recovery and IT Controls Manager is a key member of the Infrastructure and Technology Operations team, contributing to the enablement of the AIA AU enterprise-wide IT strategy, vision and roadmap.

This role will be work closely with Group and local BCM, Application and Infrastructure Teams, as well as Managed Service Providers ensuring on-going compliance related to IT controls, Disaster Recovery and Business continuity capabilities. This will cross the services portfolio of Data Centers and facilities, servers, storage, network, data protection, cloud platforms and related enterprise software as appropriate across these technology stacks.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate across teams and partners to create and ensure compliance fit for purpose across DR objectives, plans and IT Controls
- Work with the Technical IT team to ensure DR solution’s security, integrity and accessibility of data, databases and information systems.
- Conduct regular assessment of IT controls with relevant stakeholders and managed service providers to ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
- Schedule and lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the DR exercises
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of DRP
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement constructive change.
- Demonstrated hands on experience in IT Service Continuity management, IT disaster recovery plan development, maintenance and exercising of DR tests within an enterprise environment
- Proven understanding of enterprise data replication and automation technologies, as well as, DR network topology design and implementation
- Knowledge and understanding of Applications and Infrastructure, ensuring planning for implementation of a highly advanced disaster recovery capability
- Experience in managing IT risks and controls and working with internal and external audit teams
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills with a proven ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
