About the role
As a result of our Credit Manager retiring we have a position available for a Credit Manager.
This position oversees credit management and debtors’ collection processes to maximise cash flows whilst minimising credit risks and exposures, without imposing unnecessary constraints on the acceptance of sales
**More specifically, your duties will include**:
Ensure customer accounts are opened in a timely manner (provided all relevant credit checks are met), allocate funds accurately to invoices, proactively collect outstanding amounts due from customers, and minimises bad debt write offs
Influence both external and internal parties regarding the collection of cash and the clearing of claims
Drive continuous improvement and productivity improvements in the management of Accounts Receivables or the Group
Lead, support, develop and motivate the team.
About You
- 5 + years Credit Management experience with advanced knowledge of SAP
- You have significant experience in export credit management and debtor legal process
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, organisation and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail but ability to see the broader picture.
You enjoy driving continuous improvement and productivity improvements.
- You are someone who loves deep diving into your work, a natural problem solver you are also lateral thinker who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
