**Cyber Security Operations Lead**
- Permanent role with industry leading client
- Requires mentoring staff within the cyber security operations team
- Seeking CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC OR ISO 27001

An industry leading client is seeking a** Cyber Security Operations Lead **for a permanent role responsible for the development, maintenance, and operational delivery of cyber security control services across IT and OT environments.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Experience of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001/2, cyber security risk management, threat and vulnerability management and other cyber security frameworks.
- Manage direct reports in the Cyber Security Operations team
- Develop and maintain cyber security policies and standards, periodically review, update, and align them with the overall policy framework
- Demonstrable technical proficiency and experience on the planning, assessment and implementation of cyber security controls.
- Responsible for continuously improvement of the security operations program and cybersecurity operations capabilities.
- Develop and deliver security education campaigns across the business.
- Act as an interface between the organisation and vendors for high level technical issues involving information/cyber security

**Key experience**:

- Primary operational escalation points for SOC provider and vendors.
- Assist in the development of IT strategic and tactical plans in the specific areas of information security.
- Lead project work for information security related implementations
- Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption, CASB, EDR, IPS, DLP, Cloud Security Technology etc), to protect sensitive information.
