**What will you be doing within the role**

Working closely with the CIO to help set up and establish policies, frameworks, and procedures to implement - this role would require hands-on ability to configure and implement toolsets.

Reviewing their whole security and the cyber environment, driving change within the business.

Providing input into the technical and strategic direction of the Cyber Security department.

Acting as a technical expert, where needed.

Vendor discovery, selection and management.

Audit and report all findings.

Work through the NIST Cyber Security Framework.

**What will you bring to the role**

Strong communication skills required to take Board members on a journey, to explain to non-technical the need for specific selections and their benefits; cost Vs risks etc

Technical hands-on skills - e.g. implementing and selecting SIEM technology

Your enthusiasm for security, taking ownership and driving change.
