Quality & Process Analyst: AML-CTF Sanctions Operations

We've never been 'just a bank'. Just like you should never be 'just an employee'. We're united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we're making it happen.

**It starts here. With Bendigo Bank... and you.**

You'll love the good you can do here. Your experience with financial crimes investigations and strong focus on quality, compliance and the customer experience will help to protect the Bank, our customers and the communities we serve from the impacts of fraud and financial crime.

As a **Quality and Process Analyst** in our Group Financial Crime Risk Department you'll make an impact by:

- Performing quality control checking on AML investigations completed by Investigators. This is the predominant activity for this role currently and the role will evolve to also include:

- Undertaking root cause analysis and provision of reporting to inform the Leadership group and Investigators of issues
- Providing 1:1 and group training/coaching to mitigate future issues from occurring.
- Assisting with program reviews, procedural improvements and change implementation.
- Documenting, maintaining and implementing the AML Quality Assurance Framework

Please note that this position will commence early February 2025.

**What you'll bring to the role**

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

- Experience with financial crimes investigations and a strong understanding of the AML-CTF Act and how this is applied within a bank.
- Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality, compliance and the customer experience.
- Demonstrated analysis and report writing skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills with experience presenting in front of groups.
- Ability to provide feedback to peers in an appropriate manner and good conflict resolution skills.
- A strength with stakeholder engagement with the ability to build rapport and foster positive working relationships

**So, why work for us?**
- **Want big impact that matters? **Here, you'll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
- **Want to be more than just a number? **Join a team that truly values you and the diverse contribution you make, every day.
- **Want career opportunity AND flexibility? **Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You'll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:

- Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, private health insurance options, and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family members
- Opportunities to take your learning to the next level through our corporate university 'BEN U' or at an external provider of your choice

Still in two minds?

**We're making better, bigger. And we'll get there with you.**
