**Job Description**:
Sodexo are currently looking for an experienced Workforce Strategy Manager to join the team based in Balcatta, Perth on a full time, permanent basis.
The purpose of this position will be to Design & lead the frontline workforce planning strategy, building a sustainable competitive advantage via optimal workforce planning solutions.
**Key accountabilities for the Workforce Strategy Manager Will Include**:
- Introduce Labour Modelling techniques to dictate base roster requirements and ultimately achieve optimal mix of labour and right-sizing of Sodexo’s Contingent workforce.
- Drive accountability of business owners to meet financial labour targets, whilst at the same time providing support to aid them.
- Maintain knowledge of workforce related market trends, opportunities and threats, as-well-as external industry trends, best practice Workforce Planning strategies and legislative changes.
- Ensure a strong understanding of enterprise agreements, awards, and common law agreements.
- Provide analytic and what-if scenario support to the Industrial Relations Manager, to ensure best outcomes via competent decision making on areas of wage increase or other related matters.
**Requirements of the role will include but are not limited to**:
- Provide guidance to the Workforce Scheduling functions, driving continuous improvement in resource management capability and performance across the business.
- Develop and manage Sodexo’s third-party labour management strategy and relationship. Ensure an understanding of commercial agreements, pay rates, charge rates, etc. Partner with Supply Chain and lead conversations with key stakeholders to negotiate best financial outcomes.
- Facilitate annualised wage calculation models, wage modelling for annualised wage review, and wage pricing models for tenders.
- Develop Workforce Planning Governance to guide the organisation’s actions in long-term, medium-term, and short-term labour Planning.
- Provide strategic direction on future workforce needs to the business and Head-of Talent Acquisition, thus ensuring the business is equipped to stay ahead of industry workforce needs.
- Develop system support structures, and best practice ERP system user-guides, to strengthen process compliance & site resource management capability, including uptake of systems.
- Oversee the data integrity within enterprise resource systems, ensuring the highest level of accuracy & availability of data. Contribute to building the reporting capability of the organisation.
- Build strong working relationships across the business to ensure delivery of desired outcomes.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 year’s’ experience in a similar role.
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or similar, relatable field.
- Extensive experience in strategic workforce planning in large organisations.
- Expert analytical and financial modelling capabilities including “what if” scenarios.
- Experience in delivering optimal outcomes by identifying trends, accurately forecasting, and competent planning.
- In-depth working knowledge and interpretation of industrial awards and collective agreements.
- Development of labour assumptions which underpin significant labour budgets.
- Competent HR generalist skills across organisational policies, procedures, and programs.
- Driving change in complex operational environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic, divergent & logical thinker who can translate concepts into practical solutions.
- Systems savvy with the ability to leverage platforms and automate/simplify process.
- High level professional communication skills - written & verbal.
- Analytical and comprehension skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work within deadlines.
- Relationship building and influencing capabilities.
- Advanced capabilities - MS Office Suite.
