**Responsibilities**

The Specialty Smallgoods Maker is overall responsible for carry out all tasks outlined below as well as adhering to the Company’s Quality HACCP System. He/She should ensure that their duties are being carried out to the fullest of their potential.

**Main Duties**:

- Prepares Meat by deboning, trimming fat and ensuring satisfactory quality of products
- Prepares meat for Mincing as required
- Crumbs and coats meat as per required recipes
- Selects and cuts meat and fat as specified in recipes
- Grinds meat and fat as specified in recipes
- Prepares seasonings by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients as per recipes required
- Operates mincing machines, tumblers, vacuum pack, cooking kettles as required
- Assists the Operations Manager with designing / creating products
- May assist with costings and planning of production of food products, including but not limited to scheduling
- Advising customers on the suitability and uses of cuts of poultry

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Certificate III in Food Processing and two years’ experience or
- Certificate IV or above qualification in food processing or equivalent.
- Vocational English language skills
- No specific licensing requirements

Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
