Responsibilities

The Specialty Smallgoods Maker is overall responsible for carry out all tasks outlined below as well as adhering to the Company's Quality HACCP System. He/She should ensure that their duties are being carried out to the fullest of their potential.

Main Duties:

• Prepares Meat by deboning, trimming fat and ensuring satisfactory quality of products
• Prepares meat for Mincing as required
• Crumbs and coats meat as per required recipes
• Selects and cuts meat and fat as specified in recipes
• Grinds meat and fat as specified in recipes
• Prepares seasonings by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients as per recipes required
• Operates mincing machines, tumblers, vacuum pack, cooking kettles as required
• Assists the Operations Manager with designing / creating products
• May assist with costings and planning of production of food products, including but not limited to scheduling
• Advising customers on the suitability and uses of cuts of poultry

Qualifications and experience required:

• Certificate III in Food Processing and two years' experience or
• Certificate IV or above qualification in food processing or equivalent.
• Candidates with more than 3 years' experience without formal training will be considered
• Vocational English language skills
• No specific licensing requirements

Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience
