Packing Supervisor

**Role Overview**
We are looking for a proactive and reliable **Packing Supervisor (Hands-On)** to manage our packing operations.
- This is a hands-on position where you will work alongside the packing team, while also leading and supervising daily operations._

You will ensure all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently, meeting both customer requirements and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Organise daily packing activities to ensure objectives and targets are achieved within required timeframes.
- Provide leadership, daily direction, and clear information to packing staff.
- Coordinate team activities efficiently and effectively to maintain smooth operations.
- Work side-by-side with the packing team to maintain pace and productivity.
- Ensure all orders are packed accurately according to customer specifications and internal instructions.
- Oversee quality control: identify what meets standards to be packed and what must be held back or reworked.
- Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe working environment.
- Liaise with production and management to adjust to changing priorities or urgent requests.

**Capabilities & Requirements**
- Previous experience in a similar role within food manufacturing or high-volume packing - **Minimum 12 months**:

- Experience supervising or leading a small team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate activities effectively while maintaining high standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- The confidence to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of food safety practices and GMP.
- A strong work ethic and ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift licence or willingness to be trained
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg

- Availability: immediate start.
- Hours: Full-time role (4 day working week)
- Permanent resident or have full working rights

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.39 - $35.55 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
