**Savic Motorcycles**, Australia’s pioneering electric motorcycle company, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic **Engineering Manager** to lead a critical six (6) month vehicle development program and drive our operations towards a pre-IPO transformation. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced environment focused on cutting-edge design, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project Leadership & Management**
- Lead and manage vehicle programs from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget; develop and maintain project plans and timelines, allocating resources effectively, and identifying and mitigating risks; preparing and overseeing budgets, while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain to ensure successful program execution; and regular communication with stakeholders re progress updates and address concerns..

**Cost of Good Reduction (COGR) Initiatives**:

- Execute COGR initiatives for the C-Series vehicle by managing the implementation and testing of upgraded components ensuring all updates to the Bill of Materials (BOM) are accurate and supported by rigorous testing before production release; close collaboration with engineering and supply chain teams to review and consolidate ongoing COGR projects and proactively identify further cost-saving opportunities.

**Production Operations Software (ODOO) Implementation**:

- Implement the ODOO software tool to manage end-to-end production operations; set up the system for manufacturing and production, managing material flow, and ensuring the system works seamlessly for both supply and production operations.

**Motor Controller Development Project**:

- Lead the Motor Controller Development Project in partnership with key overseas supplier; evaluate the current generation of inverters, conduct in-depth testing with Australian engineering teams, and gather detailed performance and compliance requirements for the next-generation motor controllers, including EU homologation standards.

**EU Homologation and UNECE L Type Approval**:

- Support the preparation of the C-Series vehicle platform for EU homologation and UNECE L Type approval by ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards; review technical regulations, coordinate and analyse test reports, and identify any compliance gaps; facilitate communication with external consultants; collaborate with engineering teams to review and interpret specific EU regulations

**Pre-IPO Phase Contributions**:

- Oversee the management of critical path activities that influence the company’s valuation and readiness for upcoming pre-IPO initiatives; reducing costs and improving overall efficiency to strengthen financial performance; oversee regulatory compliance to secure necessary approvals for market expansion; implement strong project management practices to support due diligence and investor confidence.

**About You**:

- Bachelor's and master’s degree in automotive business management, engineering or a related qualification/s
- Extensive experience in project leadership & management, Cost of Goods Reduction (COGR) Initiatives; implementation of production operations software, supply chain management in the automotive or technology sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality assessment and problem-solving.
- Effective negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Experience in strategic planning, leading regulatory compliance initiatives, implementing Road Load Data Acquisition and supplier relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
