**Your new role**
The Project Assurance Advisor supports in the execution of strategic initiatives within the Digital and Technology solutions area by embedding a strong proactive risk culture and acting as a trusted advisor to the project management and leadership team in relation to transformation activities. This position is responsible for oversight and assurance of projects and looks to ensure that projects are delivered in line with expectations and governance structures whilst also partnering with key stakeholders to provide quality insights, analytics, and advice.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A relevant degree qualification and extensive relevant experience; or extensive project assurance management experience and expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Proven track record of managing project assurance processes across a cross-functional IT delivery team in a large enterprise with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven experience in agile project delivery methodologies, as well planning reporting and governance processes
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and consult on mitigation strategies to address project management issues
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as the ability to provide mentorship and guidance to others.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to standards and methodologies as well as the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective change.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and Problem Solving to support the area in considering options to resolve risk issues.
