People is our asset and as such we are committed to creating career pathways, offering training and development opportunities, while championing diversity **Description**: The Role We are currently seeking a qualified & experienced HSET Advisor/Site Assurance Coordinators. **Skills and Experiences**: **The HSET Advisor/Site Assurance Co-Ordinator will**: - Provide advice to site Management on Health, Safety, Environment and Legislative requirements - Provide training and assessment to Operators and Maintenance Personnel (VOC on site) to meet relevant standards and requirements - Identify changes in national competency standards and ensure appropriate changes are made to training and assessment materials - Assist management in training needs analysis to ensure training is accurately targeted and cost effective - Maintain accurate training and assessment records ensuring they are accurate and up to date - Document and version control site safety and training materials - Monitor compliance with HSE plans and environmental requirements - Assist Supervisors in developing individuals in hazard recognition and control implementation - Monitor legislative requirements and best practice, so as to provide advice and information to management and employees that will assist in the safe and responsible operation of site activities - Ensure HSE performance is reported in accordance with Client's systems - Review risk assessments, work instructions and forms as required - Conduct inspections and audits of site operations as required - Facilitate, support and conduct incident investigations - Assist in the running of pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings - Develop and conduct project inductions - Develop and distribute site specific and general safety information - Assist and support the work of safety representatives and committees **Essential Criteria**: - 5 + years relevant safety and training experience on civil earthworks projects - Certificate IV in workplace health and safety or equivalent - Certificate IV in training & assessment (TAE) - Incident investigation qualification (ICAM) - Senior first aid certificate or equivalent - "C" class drivers licence as a minimum - White card/blue card - 4WD certificate - Resources Client inducted - Experience using Resources Client systems and processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Team player - Evidence of competence in operating construction/mining plant and equipment Culture & Benefits; - Competitive remuneration - Excellent career development & internal progression opportunities - Promote our values of Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Accountability, Teamwork& Open Communication
