**The Role**
As a Contracting and Procurement Officer within the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO), your role will be critical for enabling the delivery of AGO’s mission and cutting-edge capabilities. You will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of initiatives to facilitate compliant and defensible procurement processes through the procurement lifecycle. These varied tasks can include, drafting contract and procurement documentation, contract negotiation and establishment, and providing input to strategic reporting and decision-making.
**About our Team**
The Business Enterprise Contracting & Procurement (BECP) Directorate is a critical enabler for delivering the AGO mission and is held in high regard by AGO leadership. It consists of three teams: Contracts & Procurement; Panel & Deeds; and Finance. BECP is a busy directorate that works collaboratively across AGO to deliver priority outcomes for the organisation. We seek to continually build commercial and financial expertise in ourselves, and take pride in delivering quality solutions and advice to stakeholders.

- Compliant contracting and procurement activities.
- Management of AGO’s operating budget on behalf of Director AGO.
- Management of the GeoPanel; a key strategic tool for sourcing geospatial data and imagery for delivering AGO’s core production and intelligence functions.
