Are you a proactive problem-solver with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Join us as a **Maintenance Coordinator & Scheduler** and play a vital role in ensuring our healthcare facility operates seamlessly, offering an exceptional experience to patients and staff alike.

**About the Role**
A new position has been created to schedule and coordinate all aspects of maintenance, from preventative and planned tasks to reactive repairs. Working closely with the Site Manager, you’ll oversee contractor scheduling, ensure the upkeep of buildings and equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinating preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance programs.
- Acting as the go-to contact for maintenance issues raised by staff and supervising onsite contractors.
- Maintaining accurate records and scheduling disruptions with mínimal impact on operations.
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards.
- Supporting environmental services, including waste management and equipment organization.

The role is offered as an initial 12-month contract and there is some flexibility around the number of work hours per week.

**What We’re Looking For**:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

- A practical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and scheduling tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment.

**Desirable**:

- Practical experience in facilities or equipment maintenance scheduling.
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-based industries.
- A valid driver’s licence.

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Police check, immunisation compliance, and relevant driver’s licence.
