**The Role**
- Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and operationally efficient.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Address and resolve operational challenges, including route disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, and delivery delays.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly
- Coordinate and arrange necessary repairs and scheduled maintenance for all vehicles.
- Verify that all drivers and operators possess current and appropriate qualifications and certifications.
- Implement measures to reduce the risk of vehicle overloading and ensure compliance with legal weight limits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for vehicles, drivers, and operational activities.
- Develop efficient schedules and manage team assignments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

**Your Background**
- At least 1 year of experience in a transport supervisor role, managing large teams and vehicle fleet.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams in the transport sector, fostering productivity and engagement.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and organize a team of drivers and operational staff effectively.
- Familiarity with transport regulations, driver qualifications, and legal requirements, including overloading prevention.
- Skilled in planning and managing complex transport schedules to optimize resource utilization and delivery efficiency.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using Transport Management Systems for planning and reporting.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and software for tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance.
- In-depth understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and best practices for asset utilization.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year
