About the Role
**Role Location**: Melbourne Docklands, Victoria
Reporting to the Policy Governance Lead, you will be a key part of the team, actively supporting the execute Policy Framework.
As a Policy Governance Manager, you will be part of a small team responsible for providing thought leadership and commercially pragmatic advice Policy Governance.
What will your day look like?
**Your key accountabilities in this role will include**:

- Partnering with policy owners and managers to deliver policy simplification and reduce policy complexity
- Influencing stakeholders to integrate policy governance and simplification behaviours into policy reviews.
- Tracking ANZ’s policy simplification plan and targets, including regular reporting to key governance bodies, including regular reporting to the Operational Risk Executive Committee (OREC) and the Credit and Market Risk Committee (CMRC).
- Being a member of a small team, whose services are requested and valued by internal stakeholders.
- Be responsive and forward-looking to support key stakeholders understand regulatory changes and/or risks.

What will you bring?

- Ideally come from with Policy experience from any industry.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Consider yourself to be self-driven and autonomous in your approach.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate change.
- Comfortable managing serval priorities in a professional manner.
- Resilience and a fast paced approach with a strong growth mindset.
- Enjoy working in a small, cohesive team environment.
