Make a National Impact in Veterinary Safety and Wellbeing Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) is on the lookout for an experienced, purpose-driven Work Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our national Support Office.

In this influential leadership role, you’ll shape and drive our WHS strategy across over a dozen emergency and general practice hospitals — supporting over 800 veterinary professionals across Australia.

**About the Role**:
You’ll lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AEA’s **Workplace Health & Safety Management System (WHSMS)**. This includes:

- Leading WHS risk management, safety audits, and compliance across multiple locations
- Coordinating wellbeing and fitness-for-work programs
- Managing return-to-work processes and supporting WHS representatives nationally
- Coaching senior leaders on legislative obligations, safety culture, and best practices
- Promoting psychological safety and wellbeing across all levels of the business

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Diploma or higher in WHS and certified Rehabilitation & Return-to-Work Coordinator
- 5+ years’ experience in WHS leadership, ideally in healthcare, veterinary, or similar
- Proven ability to manage complex WHS risks across multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and codes of practice across jurisdictions
- Experience coaching leadership teams and supporting frontline staff
- Collaborative, values-led approach to safety, wellbeing, and compliance
