Join a dynamic third-party logistics business as their Warehouse Manager at their site in Western Sydney, gaining a permanent role in a growing business with huge scope for professional development.
**Your new role**
In your new role you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end operations at a multi-customer 3PL site, with a strong emphasis on people leadership, systems implementation, and process improvement. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day operations management, across receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as responsibility for inventory management across the site and oversight of stock takes. Importantly, you’ll drive a culture of continuous improvement to optimise site operations.
- Leadership of the entire warehouse team, with responsibility for recruitment, onboarding of new staff, mentoring and performance management in conjunction with the operations supervisors, while instilling a safety focused culture across the operation.
- Collaboration with key stakeholders both internal (across the wider operations team and across different business units including finance and sales) and external, supporting the customer-facing teams to resolve issues, ensure SLAs are met and act as a point of escalation.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a management role within Logistics & Warehousing, with demonstrated understanding across inventory control, people leadership, distribution, ideally within 3PL.
- A history of leading high-performing teams, with exposure to leading high numbers of staff members, mentoring, and training new hires and supporting the wider leadership team.
- Strong systems skills, with understanding of ERP, TMS, and WMS highly regarded, and a strong track-record of health & safety management essential.
