Your new company is an Australian retail company with a distribution centre based in Western Sydney. They have an opportunity available for a Warehouse Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

**Your new role**

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of daily warehouse functions, with a strong logistics background and the ability to lead by example. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, you will be leading a team of 10-15 warehouse staff. Your duties will include:

- Leading and managing day-to-day operations in line with timeframes and quality standards.
- Maintain quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and operation efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to OH&S policies by all team members.
- Inventory management Maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise, train and mentor the Warehouse Team.

**What you'll need to succeed**

***
As a successful Warehouse Manager, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role. You will have a strong passion for leadership and ability to work collaboratively with peers, as well as the following:

- A strong warehousing and logistics background
- A proven track record in people management, with experience leading teams of 10+
- Current Forklift Licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to effectively lead your team
- Prior inventory management experience
