Join a leading Australian manufacturer as their Warehouse Supervisor in South-East Sydney.

**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading business, with a warehouse based in Botany. This company is long-standing in Australia, with multiple sites nationally and established teams and operations. They have an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career as a Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the operation in the warehouse, leading your team and driving improvements of current processes. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be managing a medium size team of 18 warehouse staff. Your duties will include:

- Actively participate in the development & improvement of current processes within the warehouse.
- Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
- Planning and organization of workload to ensure an efficient operation
- Maintain inventory to a high standard, including coordinating cycle counts and stock takes
- Facilitate transport and delivery requirements
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring timely responses to stock and freight enquiries.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to OH&S policies by all team members.
- Create load plans for all product dispatches

**What you'll need to succeed**
As a successful Warehouse Supervisor, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role, as well as the following:

- A track record in people management
- Strong ERP/WMS knowledge and technical skills
- Strong experience across both warehousing and transport processes
- Transport knowledge including the Chain of Responsibility, shipping requirements and load planning
- Strong safety and OH&S focus, ability to demonstrate accountability for safety
- A valid Forklift license preferred
