As a member of the Bureau's Community Services Group (CSG) and in close connection with the ROBUST program, the Applications and Business Processes Integration Specialist will work with multidisciplinary teams of meteorological, hydrological, and climatological specialists transforming CSG's operations and delivering impact and value to the Bureau’s customers, partners and stakeholders.

The Applications and Business Processes Integration Specialist will report to the Manager, Applications and Business Process Integration, and will work with them to oversee and coordinate the:

- product and service decisions associated with the new solutions
- operational impacts of the new solution, products and services
- product consolidation and business simplification initiatives
- migration of customers from current products and services to new products and services
- embedding of the transformation programs into CSG operations and manage completion activities and hand-over activities
- continuous improvement CSG-wide process improvement initiatives
- exemplify customer-focus as the heart of everything that we do;
- practice inclusive leadership and relentless enterprise collaboration in support of delivering outcomes against the Bureau's strategic pillars of Impact and Value, Operational Excellence, Innovation and Insight, the Bureau Way;
- demonstrate sound judgement and capitalise on innovative alternatives to resolve complex problems; and
- challenge the status quo when required and demonstrate resilience and personal accountability for the quality of advice and delivery of results.

To be a strong contender for the role you will need to have demonstrated track record of achievement in embedding transformation outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives in scientific or highly technically based organisations.

You will be able to point to significant success in leadership, including developing high performing teams and working successfully with peers. These qualities will also allow you to work seamlessly with the Bureau’s customers, partners and stakeholders, with the objective of understanding and articulating complex business needs and delivering relevant and high-value products and services.

You will also clearly demonstrate that you can positively contribute to the overall leadership of the Community Services Group, supporting the Manager, Applications and Business Process Integration, and the CSG Leadership Team.
