**About the role**
We have an opportunity to join our Canberra office as a Business Development Executive. This role will work closely with clients and our legal teams in developing, implementing and driving marketing and business development plans and initiatives across the Commonwealth Government Sector. Furthermore this role will focus on seeking opportunities to enhance our relationship with our clients by taking a creative approach to client service, bid processes and innovation in business development.
Our Business Development, Communications and Marketing team is helping to continue to drive Maddocks success moving forward, and this role will support the continued growth story for clients within our Commonwealth Government Sector.
This role reports to the Head of Government, Business Development, also based in Canberra.
**About You**
In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role within a corporate or professional services environment
- Experience in co-ordinating marketing and communications activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be an effective team-player, a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills
