**About the role**:
Our government client is seeking a Project Support Officer to support the team via reporting on project risks, issues, budget, and schedule status.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist with contract and procurement management activities.
- Implement effective change control.
- Support department staff to meet stringent outcomes and organisational timeframes.
- Communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps for project management.
- Experience in analysing data and other quantitative and qualitative information.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate excellent initiative and judgement to deliver outcomes
- A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and a strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team to achieve positive results and support the department’s strategic direction.

**Mandatory criteria**:

- Proven ability to support projects under a tight schedule.
- Proficiency in contract management.
- Proven ability to report on risks, issues, budget, and schedule.
- Proven ability to implement effective change control.
- Proven ability to support the team to meet the organisational timeframes.
- Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps for project management.
- Experience in analysing data and other quantitative and qualitative information.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
- Ability to remain positive and respond to pressure in a calm manner, while committing energy and drive to see that goals are achieved.
