Job Details:

- Temporary Role: Paying $44 per hour (22+ hours per week)

**About the role**:
This position is responsible for coaching high-performance athletes and ensuring their fitness, health, and capability to deliver outstanding results at events. The key responsibilities include:

- Serving as the WAG High-Performance Coach.
- Coaching high-performance athletes in preparation for senior level skills.
- Coaching program athletes on the high-performance development pathway.
- Implementing an athlete-centric model of training.
- Staying up to date on all FIG, GA, GNSW technical regulations.
- Designing, planning, and implementing athlete and squad plans.
- Ensuring the implementation of child protection, risk management, and workplace health and safety policies.
- Delivering relevant aspects of the high-performance program and coordinating talent identification.

**About the person**:

- FIG Level 3 International Coaching Accreditation.
- Gymnastics Australia High-Performance Accreditation.
- High level of knowledge in elite sport.
- Current first aid/CPR certificate and Working with Children Clearance.
- Tertiary qualifications in a sports science and/or management related discipline (desirable).
