Your new role_**

**_ Are you willing to relocate to Canberra?_**
- This is a System Administration -end user role based on a client site, where you will be answering queries, and supporting the mission systems and end users with their day-to-day activities._
- In turn, Leidos will support your career and help you upskill -learn ITIL and SharePoint Administration through on-the-job training and external training courses._
- A Day in the life will be:_
- setting up administrator and service accounts and maintaining system documentation
- tuning system performance
- installing system wide software
- allocate mass storage space
- utilise enterprise-wide monitoring platforms
- identify problems in the infrastructure environment and action them accordingly
- work with the respective business technology groups to administer, support and manage existing infrastructure deployments and functions
- participating in agile sprints, providing user representation during testing
- support Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational use
- develop plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals and other technical documentation for use by personnel
- liaise with other teams through delivery and escalation processes of the team’s tasks
- plan, monitor, and report on the progress of activities within your team’s assigned work packages

**Qualifications**:
**Looking to extend your IT skills?**
- You will be supporting the secure and effective delivery of ICT systems to the Department of Defence,
- Experience working in server, desktop, and active directory support in medium to large scale environments. Preferably in the public sector or defence sector,
- Develop plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals, and other technical documentation for use by personnel,
- Liaise with other teams through delivery and escalations process of the team's task
- Support the complex SharePoint upgrade

**About you**
- Australian Citizen with an NV2 or higher Security Clearance
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes.
- 1-2 Years’ experience in IT working a rotating 6am to 6pm business day roster
- SharePoint experience 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 would be highly desirable
- Defence experience is highly desirable
