APS6 Campaigns Officer required to support the rollout and development of COVID related government campaigns

**Your new company**
This organisation is working at the forefront of delivering policies and programs with the core focus being to support the nation in all aspects of health and wellbeing. This team has been developed within the Department to address the threat of COVID-19 by managing all related media & advertising campaign activities to ensure that Australia is able to respond to the national health emergency.

**Your new role**
Under the supervision of your EL1 you will provide high level strategic communication advice and deliver communication activities which support the needs of the department’s requirement to rollout COVID-19 campaigns to the nation. You will partner closely with external agencies and build strong relationships to ensure a clear message is portrayed.

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful in this position you will possess a collaborative and supportive work attitude as well as the following:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in developing communication and marketing products.
- Well developed analytical skills and the ability to think strategically on a board range of issues.
- Experience liaising with media agencies for campaign activities using a range of communication channels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project timelines, budgets & contract management of communication activities.
- The ability to work for the federal public service & willing to go through a police check.
