We represent employees in a variety of claims including - Unfair Dismissal Applications, Sexual Harassment Complaints, Discrimination Complaints, General Protections Disputes and Constructive Dismissals.

We currently have a vacancy for a bright, ambitious and dedicated junior Legal Assistant with a strong interest in employment law and looking to gain first hand experience in a fast paced role.

The successful applicant will be employed on a permanent/casual basis.

Key elements of this role include but are not limited to:

- Reporting to the company Principal
- Taking telephone enquiries and liaising with clients
- Preparing discrimination/sexual harassment statements
- Occasionally representing clients at the Fair Work Commission (this can include in person conferences and/or telephone conciliations)
- Representing clients at the Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissions/Anti-Discrimination Boards Australia wide
- Preparing witness statements and submissions for Tribunal proceedings
- General administrative support

This role is for someone wanting to gain entry into the legal system in a solicitor/barrister role.
